Past President James Condon and Youth Services Director Sue Robinson attended a School Assembly at Caloundra City Private School to mark World Peace Day.
Our Rotary Peace Pole marking the centenary of Rotary in Australia sits proudly outside the School Administration block.
In addressing the Assembly, James spoke of Rotary’s aim to work for World Peace and gave a brief report about Rotary and the placement of the Peace Pole last year.

Five students participated in a brief ceremony sharing “What is Peace”
If there is peace in the world there must be peace among nations, peace in the cities, peace between neighbours, peace in the home and peace in the heart.

The Theme for 2022 World Peace day is “End Racism and build peace.
