- Sunshine Plaza has granted us the Charity of Choice for the 2022 Gift Wrapping booth – there is a 10 year wait on this.
- It runs from Thursday December 1st until Saturday December 24th 9Xmas Eve) This equates to 224 hours we need to cover and many, many volunteers!!
- The booth is open everyday and every hour the Plaza is open for trade including several extended trading hours late nights. There is a table of the hours on the email below.
- We are needing a team of 4 people on at all times to wrap gifts for a gold coin donation for each present wrapped. Not each person getting wrapping done.
- The Plaza will be doing us an info pack including a mud map on where the booth is located so volunteers can easily find it.
- We will provide a shirt for the helpers to wear – most likely a Xmas style theme.
- Car parking is free for the volunteers on the booth and again the Plaza will advise in the info pack as to how this validated and where to/not park.
- Meals are not provided.
- We are running a spread sheet of volunteers with hours and days available. I have attached that also, this is a live document so please feel free to fill in where you can help too.
- We have it structured in 4-hour shifts – basically 9-1, 1-5 and then on the late nights 5-9.
- There is one midnight shift on Thursday 22nd which Mick Taylor and I are doing and happy for you to jump in on that one with us too.
- All of the wrapping equipment is provided – there is no training given, but its gift wrapping so not that difficult.
- I am the main point of contact for the project and Denise is driving the volunteer numbers with our help.
