Back to the normal meeting …

James gave the Christmas Message

He was in Sydney in late November to raise $100m/$120m/$135m/ for the Salvation Army
He has a few connections with the “top end of town”
(and he is not referring to the Friends of the Caloundra Lighthouses)

He spoke about the high flyers who would help meet the funding goals
But also the Salvation Army clients, Eric, who was introduced through the “Just Men” group, who is now the chef, Daniel, who died at 41, and Suzi who is in danger of losing her two children to Child Services.
“Sal Connect”

“All I want for Christmas is you”

It’s the things you can’t buy which have real value

Romans 15 v13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit

Jim thanked James for the talk, and also Deborah and the Board

We had fun with the Christmas presents

The last Board Meeting for the year was yesterday

Bohol Project - order placed, money paid, good on the way, and looks like Jim will be doing the installation
