Jim proposed the International Toast to the Rotary Club of Israel - there are 60 Clubs with 1400 members.  The Rotary Club of Jerusalem was chartered in 1929, and sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cairo.  Their motto is “building peace in a fractured land”

Richard introduced Peter Mosley.
 
Richard had met Peter at the Avante Gym and thought we would be interested in his life Story. He is a 70 year old retiree who came to the Coast in 2013.
His most recent work has been for Griffith University with international projects
His background in the Australian Public Service, including Aus Aid stood him in good stead.
Peter, of course can’t talk about Australian Government Policy from his 25 years in Canberra, where he had “various jobs” which gave him “untold pleasure”
Never did a Dud job
 
He was born in Lismore.
Because his mother was not well and needed a “clean environment“ moved from Canberra. Wollongong was in there somewhere
