Renae started life on a Cotton Farm in west Toowoomba
(she fondly remembers chipping weeds)
She was the eldest of four
Her mum was a special ed teacher
They moved to Toowoomba to be near schools
 
She attended the University of Southern Queensland to do Arts/Marketing
Worked for Greyhound
Moved to Gold Coast to work with charter boats, but the Company went bankrupt
Worked for Gold Coast Tourism - Indy, Carols, Versache "stars"
 
Met Chris, moved to Pottsville
Two children now 13 & 12
Back to Toowoomba as a hotel manager for four years
State Government - Empire Theatre is an architectural masterpiece
 
Chris' family ran hotels in Blackpool England
Arrived in Caloundra July last year but took three months to find a rental
