Question from Debra re council “debt“ - Answer “yes“ in debt, but we have a $1 billion budget. The $480 million debt from Treasury is at 2 1/2% interest.
We have 7 billion in assets, many money making e.g. solar farm, Maroochydore CBD airport, under sea cable - all funded by debt.
