Terry – I see you have romped it in for Division 2 – congratulations

Sorry that this write up comes a bit behind the election.

 

Terry had a map on display, showing the divisional boundaries.

He was too fast for me to write down much, but fortunately there was a handout provided.
Terry talked about the age of the infrastructure and the low level of resilience of some of it.

Question from Debra re council “debt“ - Answer “yes“ in debt, but we have a $1 billion budget. The $480 million debt from Treasury is at 2 1/2% interest.
We have 7 billion in assets, many money making e.g. solar farm, Maroochydore CBD airport, under sea cable - all funded by debt.

Trevor - question about accounting.
