Rotary District Governor Elect Paul Roger (member of Rotary Club of Greater Springfield) is bringing the District’s Annual Changeover to Ipswich on Sunday 2ndJuly where he will be inducted as the District Governor for the 2023-2024 Rotary year.
Good evening,

Rotary District 9620 Annual Changeover

We heard from Donelle Whitely at this morning's breakfast meeting where she discussed the upcoming District Changeover.  Rotary District Governor Elect Paul Roger (member of Rotary Club of Greater Springfield) is bringing the District’s Annual Changeover to Ipswich on Sunday 2ndJuly where he will be inducted as the District Governor for the 2023-2024 Rotary year.

District 9620 consists of 116 clubs and 2,100 members. It includes all areas south of Gympie to Ormeau-Pimpama; West to Kingaroy, Roma, St George, and Mitchell; East to Moreton Bay and includes Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Nauru, and of course our club, Ipswich City.

We are expecting over 200 Rotarians and guests to attend the Changeover which will be held as a lunchtime function at the Ipswich Civic Centre which is our home base.

As a not-for-profit organisation where Rotarians donate their time in the service of the community, we are seeking assistance in keeping our costs as low as possible to make the Changeover attractive to attendees. In this respect, we would be grateful if you would spread the word throughout your networks that we are looking for sponsors.  Alternatively, if you are a business owner, consider sponsoring this significant Rotary event through a donation to help us cover logistical expenses.

Such sponsorship would give exposure not only at the event but during the marketing of the event.

Our current plans indicate logistical costs of $4000, excluding food and beverages, and if sponsors can assist us in covering these costs, we will keep our ticket price attractive and maximise attendance.

If you can assist us, please contact me.

Yours sincerely,

Tiffany
