Ann and I attended the Graduation this afternoon and Ann presented Merv’s award to Maeve Bowman. Ann was able to say a few words as well on behalf of Merv. It so happens that Maeve’s mother attended the school when Merv was principal and Ann was supply teaching there as well. A really memorable occasion.
Ann is very thankful that Merv will be remembered through the Rotary Club of Caloundra’s Annual Bursary.
There was a glitch with the writing on the Trophy so it will have to be taken back to Caloundra Trophies and redone. This will happen at a later time.
